Ideas for holidays, weekends and trips in Montpellier and its surroundings

From late September to mid-October, the International Guitar Festival graces Montpellier and the surrounding area. The event pairs diversity with popularity as it attempts to find something for all kinds of music lover. This autumnal festival that has welcomed names such as Anna Calvi and Catherine Ringer in the past, is considered to be a major event in the region's calendar. The Montpellier Danse Festival, created in 1981, celebrates choreographers who flock to the city every year to showcase their skills. Held over ten days, between three and ten performances are offered up daily. The festival is held from late June to early July. La Comédie du Livre is a book festival that attracts writers, literary creation magazines and comic strip originators. This event also continues to thrive year after year. Acrochats is a nearby leisure park that is ideal for children, and the Acropole du Spa is just one of many spas that provide a great way for adults to unwind. This spa one is the biggest in Montpellier and includes such pleasures as water jets, aquabeds, treatments, and much more. For both children and adults, the Magicland Circus has much on offer, with both indoor and outdoor fun available. You will never be short of things to do whilst staying at the Campanile Montpellier Sud hotel.
